Install Insytix on WordPress

WordPress is the most common platform in Israel — from service sites to WooCommerce stores. This guide explains how to connect Insytix: **one-click automatic connect** from the Embed page (recommended), ZIP/HTML alternatives, and handling LiteSpeed and Cloudflare.

Before you start

Active Insytix account, registered site with correct domain, and WordPress admin access (wp-admin). If an agency manages the site — invite them as a collaborator (view) or send the embed link; only the site owner can connect WordPress.

Method 1: Automatic connect (recommended)

Insytix dashboard → select site → **Embed**. In the «Automatic WordPress connection» card click **Connect WordPress**. Enter your site URL (https://…) and click **Approve access in WordPress** — you'll be redirected to WordPress Admin to approve the «Insytix Analytics» application (Application Password, not Google OAuth). After approval, Insytix connects, installs/syncs the plugin, embeds tf.js with __INSYTIX_CONFIG__, and verifies tracking. If tracking isn't live yet — click **Activate tracking automatically**.

• Embed → Connect WordPress → approve in WP Admin
• Manual tab: URL + user + Application Password
• After connect: sync plugin from dashboard (when connected)
• Verify: green status on Embed + real-time visitors

Method 2: Plugin ZIP (manual)

In the «WordPress plugin» accordion on Embed: **Download plugin (ZIP)**, install in WordPress (Plugins → Upload → Activate), then connect from Insytix or click **Check installation**. WooCommerce stores get a store-aware ZIP with order tracking. When connected — **Sync plugin** updates tracking ID and endpoint (useful with Cloudflare).

Method 3: HTML code (manual)

Copy the full block from the «HTML code» accordion — including __INSYTIX_CONFIG__, meta tags, and tf.js with defer, data-no-optimize, and data-cfasync. Paste in Header (Insert Headers and Footers / WPCode). Don't paste only the tf.js URL without the config block.

Regular WordPress vs WooCommerce

Same plugin and connect UI. On automatic connect Insytix detects WooCommerce and sets store type + order, abandoned cart, and revenue tracking. Choose WooCommerce store when creating the site if you know it's a shop.

LiteSpeed, Cloudflare, and cache

tf.js includes data-no-optimize="1" and data-cfasync="false". The plugin injects __INSYTIX_CONFIG__ before the external script. If no data: purge cache, temporarily disable JS combine, check View Source. Auto-connect + plugin handle most cases.

What Insytix tracks on WordPress

page_view, phone_click (tel:), form_submit (CF7, Elementor, WPForms, etc.), WhatsApp when configured. Leads in Leads tab with traffic source. WooCommerce — real-time orders. Push alerts. Google/Meta integrations connect under **Features** (not Embed).

Verify and troubleshoot

Publish/purge cache, browse in incognito, check real-time and Embed status (refresh button). View Source: tf.js + ins_ + __INSYTIX_CONFIG__. Duplicates: remove plugin+paste double install. Forms: not external iframe. Orders: WooCommerce site type.

Try the steps above first. If tracking still isn't active — dashboard → **Embed** → at the bottom, **Request team assistance**. We need **site admin access only** (WordPress Admin, Wix collaborator, etc.) — not hosting panel or site migration. Application Password or temporary user recommended; passwords are not stored in the app.

Collaborators (agency / client)

View-only collaborators see data and features the owner enabled — but **cannot** connect WordPress or manage integrations. Only the site owner connects from Embed.
