Leads are the heart of Israeli service businesses — form inquiries, phone calls, WhatsApp messages. Insytix collects all these automatically from tf.js and displays them in the dashboard Leads tab, with arrival source, handling status, and push alerts. This guide explains how to manage leads efficiently, track sources, and never miss an inquiry.

What counts as a lead in Insytix

A lead is any inquiry a visitor made on your site: form_submit (contact form), phone_click (tel: click), whatsapp_click (WhatsApp click), and new_lead (identified lead with contact details). Each lead is saved with timestamp, source page, and arrival source (UTM, Google Ads, Facebook, direct). Unlike Google Analytics, Insytix shows name, phone, and email when entered in the form — not just an "event".

  • Contact forms (form_submit)
  • Phone clicks (phone_click)
  • WhatsApp clicks (whatsapp_click)
  • Leads with full contact details

Leads tab in the dashboard

In the Insytix dashboard → Leads you'll see a table with all inquiries: date, name, phone, email, type (form/phone/WhatsApp), arrival source, and status. Filter by date, type, status, and source. Click a lead for full details: form fields, source page, UTM, and session recording link (if enabled). This is your daily inquiry management hub.

Lead statuses and follow-up tracking

Every lead starts as "new". Update to "in progress" when you start handling, and "closed" when the deal ended (or was disqualified). Statuses help sales teams know what's pending — especially with dozens of daily inquiries from an active campaign. See open vs closed leads per period.

  • New — unhandled inquiry
  • In progress — being handled
  • Closed — completed or disqualified

Arrival source for every lead

Insytix attaches traffic source to every lead: Google Ads (with gclid), Facebook (utm_source=facebook), organic Google, direct, or newsletter. Know if the lead is from paid or free campaign — critical for ROI. Add UTM to campaign links; tf.js stores them for the session. The dashboard shows which sources generate the most leads.

Push alerts on new leads

Enable push alerts in dashboard → Notifications — for form_submit and new_lead. When a visitor submits a form, the alert arrives on your phone within seconds with name and phone (if entered). Follow up within minutes — a major competitive advantage in Israeli service businesses where speed matters.

Leads in stores (alongside orders)

WooCommerce, Konimbo, and E-Shop stores also receive inquiries — "in stock?", "when does shipping arrive?". Insytix tracks leads alongside orders. The dashboard shows both lead and order cards. A lead that didn't convert — a chance for personal follow-up sales.

Session recordings and leads

If session recordings are enabled, see what the visitor did before submitting a form — which pages they visited, where they got stuck. Note: recording is a separate tool from stat events — a lead is counted from form_submit even without recording. Recordings help understand why a customer left or what interested them.

Improving lead capture on your site

Ensure phone buttons are tel: links (not plain text). Forms — HTML submit, not external iframe. Add name and phone fields — Insytix will save them. WhatsApp — wa.me link with Israeli number. Fewer fields = more submissions, but contact details are essential for follow-up.

Verify lead capture works

Submit a test form from the site, click tel:, click WhatsApp. Check Leads tab for inquiries within seconds. If not — verify tf.js in HTML, tel: links, and HTML form. Enable push and verify the alert arrives.

Filtering and searching leads

In the Leads tab filter by date (today, week, month), type (form, phone, WhatsApp), status (new, in progress, closed), and source (Google, Facebook, direct). Useful with dozens of daily inquiries from a campaign — focus on unhandled new leads. Search by name or phone if a customer returns — see full history.

Team lead management

When multiple people handle inquiries — sales manager, service rep, business owner — update lead status to avoid contacting the same customer twice. Insytix keeps history: who inquired, when, from where, and status. Share dashboard access with multiple users (per plan). Each enables push separately — so two reps can get alerts on new leads and decide who responds.

Exporting leads and client reporting

Marketing agencies and freelancers can export leads from the dashboard and send to clients. Each lead includes date, contact details, arrival source (UTM, Google Ads, Facebook), and status — enough for a weekly report without Google Analytics access. Business owners can share dashboard access with partner or sales rep — both see new leads and update status.

Frequently asked questions

See form content? Yes, entered fields. Phone lead includes number? Only if in tel: href. Export to Excel? Yes. Leads deleted? Stored in history. Need GDPR? Show privacy policy — you're responsible. Assign lead to rep? Update status to "in progress". WhatsApp counted as lead? Yes, whatsapp_click.

Daily workflow with leads

Morning: open dashboard → Leads → filter "new" — handle yesterday's inquiries. During day: push on new lead → call or WhatsApp within 5 minutes. Evening: update statuses to "closed" or "in progress". Weekly: check which sources (Google, Facebook) brought most leads — adjust budget. Monthly: export leads for client report (agencies) or internal analysis.

Summary

Lead management in Insytix: all inquiries in one place, with source, status, and push alerts. Ensure tel: links and HTML forms, enable push, and update statuses. Never lose a potential customer — in Hebrew, in real time.
